Apple has identified malware which infected a limited number of mac systems through a vulnerability in the java plug-in for browsers.The malware was employed in an attack aginst apple and other compinies, and ws spread though a website for software developers.As in the facebook casse, the company said hackers were only able to access a small number of apple employees' macintosh computers. apple then isolated them from its network(there was no evidence that any of the data left apple)facebook reported on friday that it was targeted in a sophisticated attack. Like apple today it said that there wsa no evidence that facebook user data was compromised. secrity experts told ABC news that it is likely that the only information compromised was what was on the personal computers of those employees whosse machines were infected. Both attacks used a vulnerability in java, th software used to show how much of the content on web browsers. Because of that vulnerability, the department of homeland security released a statement last month urging computers users to disable the software in browsers. Apple said that its opperating systems do not ship with java installed. if a user installs java, apples software will automatically disable it if it has been unsured for 35 days. Apple will also be releasing a new update that will help aginst java threats.To protect mac users who have installed java, today we are releasing an updated java malware removal tool that will check mac systems and remove this malware if found. Apple and facebook's announcments comes after twitters announcment on feb.1 that 250,000 accounts were compromised in an attack.Twitter told affected users to reset their passwords.The new york times and the wall street journal said their computer systems were infiltrated by chinese hackers in late january.

Voki v.s blabberize

I liked using the voki better because it was a lot easier because all you had to do was create an avatar and put a voice with it and blabberize you had to shape out the mouth and make it move and put sound to that one to but you had to use audacity to record your voice on that one and you didn't have to on voki. The one that i liked best was voki because it was simple and easy. I would use voki again. You could possibly use these in another class by doing it by making a presentation out of it.

Teresa gave personal information out like, her phone number, her school, her mom, dad and brothers name. I have put personal information on the internet. I think that the most important thing to remember when your using the internet is to be smart about what your saying or doing when your talking to someone that you don't know or just met.
The video i chose to watch, was about someone sending a picture to there friend and that person showed it to his friends and his friends sent that picture to more people. when someone asks to see a picture of you you should never send a picture of yourself or anyone else to that person because someone could end up keeping that picture and then they can try and find you because of that one picture you sent to someone.

I am pround that i didnt use any hurtful words in any of my statuses and that they were nice words. i was suprised to see that the word i used most was you and like and that it wasn't snowmobiling.there wasn't really anything that i was embarrassed about.

cyber bully video

The movie and some of the information we talked about in class compare by being smart online and dont comment mean things, just go to someone like an adult and tell them or just block the user, you probly should never fight back with a bully by saying mean things back to them. some similarties with the movie and what we are talking about in class are what you say or do on the internet can be hurtful and rude and the person that your saying those things to could really hurt the other persons feelings and they could want to kill themselfs because of the things that person is saying to them.
